The only currency that seemed to have a worse day was the\u00a0US$ as concerns over their debt requirements grew.<\/p>\n<p>We are open until 3pm today so please feel free to get in touch. We then are back for business on Tuesday 4<sup>th<\/sup> January.<\/p>\n<p>So we end the year with sterling having gained a bit of ground against the euro , close to where we started the year against the US$ and having lost a lot of ground against the commodity backed currencies.
