We\u2019ve found that airport bureaus apply markups of over 10% away from the \u2018real\u2019 exchange rate. It\u2019s better than one.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Whether you are emigrating, making overseas property payments or sending money to friends and family \u2013 SHOP AROUND. Getting two quotes is always going to be better than one. Don\u2019t settle for the first deal you stumble across.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Haggle. Haggle. Haggle<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you are trading over the telephone, never underestimate the power of haggling. You\u2019ll be pleasantly surprised to see how far currency brokers will fight to secure your business.
